Our History & Goal
DicePay Ltd. (“DICE” or the “Company”) is a currency exchange and funds transmission company.
DICE was incorporated in Ontario on December 21, 2022, and registered with the Financial Transactions and Reporting Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC) as a MSB on April 13, 2023. DICE’s MSB registration number is M23200121. DicePay will offer fund transmission services and currency exchange services.
Our story started with a simple question
Why is sending money home so expensive and complicated?
Dice Empire FX began in Cameroon. Our founder, Akum Stone Wenjeri, kept hearing the same story from family and friends who had moved to Canada: sending money home was expensive, slow, and complicated.
Listening to the Cameroonian and African diaspora in Canada, one thing became clear – on major platforms, close to 10% of a typical transfer was being lost to high sending fees and poor exchange rates. That's money that should have gone to school fees, medical bills, and family support.
We knew there had to be a better way.
So we built it. Dice Empire FX was created to serve the Cameroonian and African diaspora in Canada with the respect, transparency, and affordability they deserve. We're not just another fintech company – we're a bridge connecting families across continents.
Today, we've helped over 50,000 persons resident in Canada send more than $5 million home to their loved ones. Every transfer means a child's school fees paid, a medical bill covered, or a family business supported.
